  • '23 JDCA Flywheels

I am having a hard time finding a nice set of flywheels for my '23 JDCA. The set I got with the engine are casting # 150-20d on both sides.
I have a nice set of # 150-24a flywheels. Does anyone know the difference between these two sets, and if I can run the 150-24a wheels
in my '23? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Use the -24 flywheels as long as they have a 74" stroke. You will see lots of different flywheels listed in the parts books for J models from about 1923 and up. It's all about how the wheels were balance based on the rod and piston combinations that the factory was playing around with around that time.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the reply, that is just what I needed to know. They are 74" flywheels, and I will get the assembly balanced.
      Thanks again, Tom
