  • Spotlight Lense

Does anyone know where I might find a replacement yellow lens for my '47 spotlight? I bought an old original complete assembly and the yellow lens is cracked. It's a clear (non-fluted) lens that says 'FOG LENS' across the bottom.

    Thanks...

At one point, V-Twin had yellow lenses and they looked pretty good. You may have to buy a pair, however, to get an exact color match. Otherwise, those show up on eBay all the time.

    Cheers,

Thanks... But Ted no longer shows shows the yellow in his catalogue - only the red and clear. However, I will keep an eye on fleasebay.

The non-fluted fog lenses were all aftermarket. The factory fog type are fluted. The yellow ones were a Dixie item for many years.

That is a sealed beam. Not the bulb behind a lens type that he is looking for.

That's correct Chris - its the lens only, not a sealed beam. The one I'm replacing is the aftermarket Dixie FOG lens only, as I don't really care for the fluted lenses (no offense you my purest friends out there). I'll be looking for one at Oley this weekend.

This is a ribbed one; what width are you looking for?
