  • Early Harley mystery tool

    Hi all,

I have this Harley tool, & wondered what it is for, & how old it is ?

I am guessing(?) it is old or early Harley, but don't really have any idea how old, or what models(s) it is for, or what it does.
It just sort of has an old look about it.

Tool is stamped HARLEY DAVIDSON on one end.
I have lightly chalked the stamping with blue chalk, so as it will stand out a bit in the photos.

One end of the tool is stamped with the number C68334, or it could be 068334.
It's hard to make out what the first letter or number is.

It is quite a solid & well made tool, about 1/4" thick & 8 3/4" long.

It has a swing out part in the middle that has 2 different sized pins on it.

I've never seen a Harley tool like it.

Anyway, would love to hear anyone's thoughts / opinions on what it is for, & what year or model it fits !

    Cheers for now,

    Dave.

        Thanks for that info!

If Harley stopped making bicycles in about 1919, then I guess the spanner is going to be from before 1919 !

        Thanks again.
