Harley JD Factory Frame Table

I have an original Harley frame table from the twenties and am looking for a few of the fixtures that are missing or that were accessory items on the table. Below are pictures of the parts that I need.

This is the fixture for assembly / dis-assembly of the later fork.


This is a picture of a large accessory add on to the table for working on single and early 45 frames. I'm missing the frame tube brace that is circled.


This is another view of the same clamp.
Also circled is what looks to be a gauge for checking the relative positions of the motor mount pads.


You never know what is laying around so I figured it didn't hurt to ask.

It's not THAT crazy to ask. Last year I got another fixture block for this same frame table from another member on this forum. You never know what people have sitting around.

I think I have some of those in my kitchen drawer, behind the swizzle sticks and c. 1993 soy sauce packets.

In all seriousness... can you post a picture of the table? That must be an amazing find.

Frame table parts

You must have some heavy duty slides on your kitchen drawers. These parts are heavy. LOL
I have some old pics up on the web from years ago just after I got it home from overseas. That was before I had identified all of the extra castings that I have.

There was also another Harley factory tool that's shown first. It's a cylinder lapping machine. At the top there are three positions that control the stroke marked 61, 74 and single.
I have been unable to find a service bulletin describing its use. I do however have a copy of the 18 page service bulletin that covers the frame table.

Eric, That table of George's used to be in Edddy's shop in San Pedro, California and was mounted so it could Hydraulic cylinder lift from floor level height to bench level height. I believe it to be one of the one's the Spear brothers used to manufacture up in the Bay area. They built J-model cut downs and worked for Dud Perkins.

San Pedro, CA Harley dealer Eddie Ryan built the table himself. The base was from some other machine. He had the upright parts cast and machined.
