JD Exhaust Valve Adjustment ?

I recently bought my 1928 JD and after reading the manual I’m still having questions. It appears that to adjust the Exhaust Valves you have to first remove the intake valves to access the covers of the exhaust valves! I thought I must be missing something because the manual states to adjust the intake valves every 800 miles and the exhaust every 1500! It begs to question, if this is the case and you have to remove the intakes to get to the exhaust valves then why wouldn't it state to do both every other time!?

I looked for a Youtube video but couldn’t find one! Anyone have or want to make one!!?

You have to remove the intake valve PUSHRODS (not the intake valves) to get easier access to unscrew the exhaust valve covers. These can be removed easily without affecting their adjustment since the intake valve springs are relatively weak. Just don't mix up the front and rear when you go to put them back in.
