What year is this Har-Dav Engine

Hi All:- I picked up an old Harley Engine with all matching numbers. Not sure tho if its a 1913 or 14. The ser number ends in "E". One of my parts books shows "E" to be for 1913. However, from what I see, 13 motors had no primers. 14 did. Mine has primers and the cyl barrels include the matching crankcase ser. No. However, the same parts book shows 1914 engines end in "EH". No single letter E for 14. I'm a bit stuck with deciding the year as the motor seems to have details for both 13 and 14 unless it was some kinda transition engine year end/start containing features of both years. Crancase is a nine lug caseing... Any help would apreciated as I have a 14 to 16 cam comeing in the mail, hope its correct....Joe
