  • Drum identification

I've had this drum for as long as I can remember and still don't know what it fits. Tried to figure it out today but my books only go back to 1930. It's an 8" one piece part.

    Thanks, Kerry

Are the drum and sprocket one piece or did somebody weld it together nicely?

Is it a two-into-one job of a VL rear drum altered to fit a star hub?

I brushed around the sprocket and looking close with a good light there is a weld visable on the back side. I thought it was odd for the Co. to make a disposable drum.
So what do you think it was origionally? The shoe that was with it looks like 38 thru 57.

Had to tell without having it in my hands. Could be a '35 45" drum or a '36 EL. What is the measurement across the braking area?
