  • clutch does not disengage

Evaluating hard shifting on my 45 I found out, that the clutch does obviousely does not disengage.
Even tightening the control to the very limit does not help.
May evantually clutch spring adjustment be required means are the springs too tight ?
    Advise appreciated.

    Kind regards

Many, many things to check. Is the clutch rod bearing broken or frozen-up? This happens on the 45 quite frequently. You must look at the clutch plates while you are releasing the clutch. If the plates do move in and out, they may be oily and sticking together. Or the plates are worn thin. Or the clutch pins have grooves in them. You may have to disassemble the clutch and clean and inspect all the parts. You will need an over sized washer to keep all of the springs from dropping out. If you decide to pull the clutch apart, someone will assist you here on the forum. Good luck.
