    Hello everyone,
In the 1934 HD parts book there is a part# 535-26 described as a "leather washer". I found no leather washer in my disasembly but now I am reasembling and would like to get it right.
    This is on a 21 c.i. single.
Would a steel washer work and where does this washer fit, between the the relief stud and the case or the relief stud and the cover?
    Thanks Mike

Though I have absolutely no experience with said model of machine....I have an opinion as to the part. If the part was originally leather, it was most likely used as a seal of some type. Paps
