    Hi Bill,

I am making cam lobes that have KR profiles that do not have the angle and are straight to fit the other 45's and use roller tappets. These are actual KR shapes with the high lift for racing purposes. Lots of the AHRMA racers are using these.
Information is on my website www.enfieldracing.com
    Good Luck,
We need another racer out there.

Nice website Bruce. I think I met you at Oley and recently in Jefferson at a swap meet. I see you have a list of parts you plan to make. I tell you what I would like to see is replacment WLD cylinders with the larger ports. Factories are hard to find and I really dont want to butcher up a OEM pair.

          Cam Question

My experience with KNS " hottest " regrinds ; intakes at stock setting opens @ 42* + or -btc, if you advance the intakes "only" one tooth they open 59* + or - btc, ( the same setting Sifton used to gain 4 hp ), advancing one tooth moves the power band to a slightly higher rpm. Carpenterbill I had the oppertunity to race at Mountanfest one year and it was a blast ! I would suggest leaving those KNS grinds at stock settings for that sprint race, good luck ! Tim

Thanks Tim that is exactly what i needed to hear. Yeah it is a sprint / street type course. I have had an old 47 flatty for a while now and went up there this past summer and fell in love with it. It inspired me to build a separate bike to race. May not get it built by next year, but I will get there. Are you local to Morgantown?

Not a local, just heard about it from some 101 racers at Oley a couple years back and decided to give it a try, was really cool racing through the streets "some cobblestone" of a small town lined with spectators and cops holding back traffic, hope to do it again sometime, Tim

There is a set of WR cylinders on Ebay. Will these work with WL lifters? Ive read that the valves are tilted towards the cylinder about 4 degrees.

WR ? new ballgame, big bucks ! to use WR cylinders you must have WR "or KR" cams, tappet blocks, heads and intake, your stroker idea is much cheaper power..

Yeah thats what I was thinking too $$$. Do you have any experience on the difficulty of putting the larger WR or U intake nipples in WL heads? I am just trying to maximize the amount of air permitted into the cylinders. I relieved the cylinders on my 47, but kept the stock valve size. I want the new cylinders to have larger intake valves, relieved and the larger nipples. Machine shops willing to do motorcycle work around my area are none existant. Will have to ship. Bummer
