I am trying to restore a 35 VLDD .Nost of these 80" went to CHP as far as I know.
Can anyone supply info on correct sirens in this timeperiode?

The CHP did not use a Harley-Davidson supplied siren. They used a right side mounted siren made in California by Hedberg Siren Company.
Here is a photo of some CHP VL's leaving the assembly line. Notice no sirens on them.

Dear Chris, thank you for the great picture of 1934 CHP VLs! Do you have any of 1935 or 1936 CHP VLs? Have you seen that 1935 newsreel footage of a gaggle of CHP VLs being shown doing 100 mph - at least on the Corbin speedo?

Somewhere I have a photo of some CHP VL's "At Speed". Riders hunching down for less wind. I don't have time to search for it now as I gotta get my butt to work.
