Are you for real??? Hope you got a few of them. Wow, and to think I paid $425 for a used 305 Yamaha in 1970 and $500 for a used 500 Kawasaki in 72. My poor choice in investments has stayed with me throughout the years, unlike my hair and good looks.

"Remember when in the early 1970s you could buy stock running Knuckleheads at West Side Cycle in Milwaukee for $350?"
What street was West Side Cycle on? I think I bought a 37 WL from them for 50 bucks in around 1966? Got it running the day I bought it.

West Side Cycle
John...I'm pretty sure I know the shop. It was on Fond Du Lac Avenue. Man, that was my favorite shop. Pan and Knuckle top ends lining the window sills and chopper take off parts hanging in the rafters. The best part of that shop was the smell, a combination of old oil, rubber, gunk, and grease. Too bad you could'nt bottle it.
I went past the building last summer. I'ts now a beauty parlor.....I bet It doese'nt smell the same....Rod
