Hello to all participants, I'm searching for an original Fuel and gas tank in good condition for my WLA Type II.
If anyone wants to sell it or know where I can find those parts, please be so kind to inform me.

Hey Chris,
I know, but often they ask gangster amounts of money for those things, mostley is it rubbish, because I had brought already a pair on Ebay and they where completely rusted trough and all treats where damaged.
I need someone who is trustful and honest, hard to find I know.
But I don't give up, because I luv WLA's and I want to complete my restauration project, I build-up my bike with all original and NOS parts, cost me a bunch of money but it's a hobby.

You got plenty of resources near Belgium friend. In the Netherlands you have Larry Elias and many others who can link you to a good set. In France you have Milwaukee Belle and Beauty Of Speed. They can link you to someone also. You need to get out and about in Belgium. There are plenty of spares in your own area. Not everyone puts their parts on ebay. Don't worry. The tank set you seek is only a village away. Paps

A friend of mine was it Italy back in the '60's working on the movie "The Longest Day". He told me they got all the US and German military vehicles used in the movie from an Italian scrap dealer that had acres of the stuff. He told me that motorcycles where in piles twenty feet high. I wonder if any of that stuff is still there today.

Hey Guys, I found 1 complete tank set NOS and 1 NOS oil tank, Belgium and Italy.
