I've posted this a couple of places, in case anyone is interested:
Only trouble is, it's the front cylinder on an incomplete 1940 Harley-Davidson Flathead "U" motor. The seller apparently has no clue. He's included the bastard motor with a de-tabbed Panhead frame and some other stuff as a "project."
The motor would never work, and would never work in that frame, with the front exhaust sticking out to the side and into the rt. front downtube anyway. There's a late model springer in the pile, too. Someone needing a VLH cylinder should buy it all and put it out of its misery. I'd be interested in the late springer.
