This is a follow on thread to the M88 carb conversion I did. In looking at Palmer’s book there is a very long list of Linkert carbs and from the specs in the book, it’s hard to tell what is different between them. With regards to my M88 I have done the following:
1) Replaced the fixed jet setup with an adjustable high speed needle and plugged the place where the fixed jet would go.
2) Replaced the 15/16” venturi with a 1 1/16” venturi with a vent filed into it
Do I now have the equivalent to an M51?
