31 and 35 VL'S

Thought I would post this photo here for the HD VL group this was taken at a local HD dealer celebrating 60 years in business.

The two tone 31 VL has been restored.......................

now the 35 blue and silver VL is a one owner original paint bike the person that owned this bike was the founder of Gowanda Harley Davidson John Reid,he rode this bike to the factory in 1947 to sign paperwork to become aHarley Davidson motorcycle dealer in Gowanda New York

Yes me to Miker considering that I am trying to resurect a 30 VL.

The only thing that I know of that has been redone is the seat on the 1935 VL not sure what may have been done to the motor but the rest is original .

The latest news letter from Gowanda HD has a photo of the owner with his previous bike a 1929 JD the caption says it was taken in 1933........must be he ran the wheels off of the JD for 2 more years before scooping up a new 35 VL
