Its been a while since I've rebuilt a 1929 DL Generator and I have forgotten some of the detail.
I have to repair the drive end of the armature (I think the generator might of had a pulley fitted at some point and the spline area is damaged - just a little....
Could someone refresh my memory, how is the bevel gear fixed to the drive-end of the armature - is it just a press fit since there is no cross pin like a 32E armature, nor a retaining nut like the JD armature?
Also, are the splines the same as a 32E or different (I don't have the armature bevel gear for reference)?
