  • Leather Saddle Treatment

    Please turn to V-Twin Catalog (2006) page 831, Corbin-Gentry
    K-R Saddle #47-0115, brown.

Is there a leather treatment that can give this seat a nice warm burnished appearance?

As it is, it would look out of place on the raw primer, no chrome 45 bobber project I'm doing.

Does anyone have any advice concerning the quality of Corbin-Gentry products?

Can't help you with the leather tone but I have had a few of the black seats and they are built tough and strong. Paps

      Paps-

Thanks for the reply about the quality. I'll try to contact CG direct about the treatment.

I can't tell from the catalog what kind of leather the seat is covered in, however, if it is the soft drum tanned variety there is nothing you can do with it. If is is vegtable of chrome tanned, you can clean the finsh off with lacquer thinner and redye it with Fiebings russet dye.----Michael
