          Thanks Peter. I was hoping to find something a little less expensive. I'm glad I only need two, maybe three things to finish. Well plus a paint job. I feel sorry for the younger enthusiests who have to purchase such expensive parts for their restorations. My sense is they will go back to building choppers and mix and match what they can find. I must be getting old. Oh well. Cheers

            It's my understanding that the 2 guys who were making them have both sold out, retired, etc. I believe Comp Distributing bought out 1 of them, Chris Daniels (or something like that), and now have the market to themselves.

              Dear John, the VL battery is not a show part like on other makes, so you don't need to spend big money. A generic B38-6A battery left in its cardboard box will do the job nicely.
