Thanks for that page from mechanics bulletin, invaluable information is there many more of them?
curious how the decompressor shaft works, thought that was what is was and the bulletin names it for me - thought maybe I had something missing but looks much the same as drawn

MB 102 is dated June 10, 1926 and claimed to contain complete timing instructions for certain, not all, H-D motors. I’ll scan some more pages from it and post them in the next few days. No doubt there were other issues but I’ll have to check my folders to see if I have any. Sometimes there were also Service Department Bulletins, Shop Dopes (aka Service Shop Dopes) and Rider’s Hand Books so I’ll look for them as well.

I have MB 102 in two publications and one of them has two pages in one which makes it easier so I’ll post the whole bulletin but in two posts.

Shop Dope about renewing bushings in a single transmission.

Something else I have is a Rider’s Hand Book but it may take me a few days to get onto that. Stay tuned.

Here’s the Rider’s Hand Book I mentioned above. You’ll notice it says copyright 1926 but it was in the 1927 section of my Operation, Maintenance & Specifications book (#99405-93) for 1911–1930. Last page will be 36.

                              Thanks Eric,
I had found one a week or so ago on Ebay for 12 bucks US - I didn't see this until just now.

Am thinking I'll have to get the Worm and Pinion gears made for the Generator\points, since it's awaiting them to complete the reco, so will get a couple extra in case someone else is looking.
Reckon I can make the Armature drive gear and since the Oiler drive worm looks ok can shrink a sleeve on the Idler and recut the teeth.
Thinking I'll have a go at the Oiler gear and should be able to reco the body properly, unless one pops in out of the never never - keep you posted
