Putting together a 1929 DL motor with 1941-up WL top end. Using 1941-up rods with male rod in front. Since using the modern rod configuration with male rod in front, should I remove rear crankcase cylinder baffle or leave intact? Thanks.

I would only remove it if the rod hits it when you rotate the crank. I believe that the baffles are to get the oil past the rear cylinder. Usually these total loss oil systems over oil the rear cylinder and under oil the front.Originally posted by Buster View PostPutting together a 1929 DL motor with 1941-up WL top end.
