WL Seat Post Bore, Dumb Question

    Hello,

Has anyone come across a 45 Flathead frame where the seat post hole has a plug 12" from the top of the frame with a 1/2" hex hole through it?

    Thank you.

Turned out to be a homebrew spacer or something made for an old hex drive socket that is now turned into chips. There was a couple in there.

Glad you got the sockets out of your frame (weird place for them. I had a late wishbone frame that had railroad spikes welded into the sidecar loops. Welcome to the AMCA forum, K591.

Thanks, I shot kroil down there for a couple weeks, tried driving with a punch from the bottom, and tried turning it with a breaker bar/impact and it wouldn't budge. I was wondering if I had some weird repop frame that used a different pogo.

I just remembered that I had to drill out what was left of the seat post assembly in my 1916F. Burned up a drill motor screwing around with that.
