    Hi Loch,

    Great news. You should get a spark when you touch A as the field windings are very low resistance and will draw a slug of current when connected to the battery.

    Sounds like everything is golden. If you wanted a sanity check you can actually measure the A terminal relative to ground with everything connected and the bike running. You will see a positive voltage.
