    1935 vld tool box mount help

    What is the correct way to mount this tool box mount bracket? Does anyone have a photo that I can look at?
    thank you all for helping me with all my questions.

      If it's like UL/Knuck it is welded to the frame.Be carefull to make sure there is room for the box before you weld.Customer had later streamline toolbox & had welded the bracket on & painted.The toolbox would not fit because it hit the frame with correct pacers in place.

          The way you have it in the picture it is backwards. The threaded bosses go towards the wheel.

              There is a picture on page 14-9 of my VL Restoration book that should help. If the finished bike is to be entered for AMCA judging, you should check that the other frame features are correct for the year.
