  • J Rocker tower identification

    Greetings
I need some help identifying 2o'ish rocker towers. I have Steve's book, but still cant really tell the subtle difference in the earlier towers. I have two that look basically the same on the outside except for the size of the hole in the top. The inside looks different, it has a machined section on the inside. The other question is what are the 3 drilled holes on the inside of the flange for? I get that they line up with the pins on the intake housing, why 3? The towers are supposed to go on a 1920 J. 20230509_154812.jpg20230509_154755.jpg The outside hole on the bottom tower is roughly .700 (17.86mm) and the one one the top is roughly .825 (21mm)
    Thanks

How do you move something? I intended this for the J JD section. If and admin/moderator could move this, I would appreciate it.
    Thanks

The dark colored tower is 1923-1926. The gray/silver one is 1917-1922
