Seat Post Bush

Hi folks, I need to machine a new bronze seat post bush for my 31V and am wondering what's the general consensus on fit between it and the frame?
I'm assuming a couple of thou oversize, freeze prior to install, and we're in business but will happily stand corrected on that.

Dear Peter, that should do it but the seat post tops are not always perfectly round or straight to that level of accuracy. After installation you may have to test fit the top section and ream out a tad more to give smooth operation.

Thanks Steve, my seat post top is definitely not round so I'll keep that in mind.
