Anyone out there have any experience with the 2 different sets of clutch springs for pre-40 clutches? Per Palmer, the first set was longer than the 2nd set, but the wire diameter was smaller. Was there an engineering change to the clutch itself that prompted this, or was it just a means of allowing the clutch to "grab" a little better? Is one set preferred over the other?
