V L Fork locks

I am to the point of removing the fork lock from the frame can anybody give me some pointers on how to do this?

Also a while back I recall that there was a thread on a person that can reproduce the key for the Fork lock could somebody point me to that person.

not too long ago there was a lenghty discussion on doing this on this forum, covered it very well with pictures an all,check the history ,
