1949 WL - Kicker Pedal Rubber

    Go ahead and laugh....
Is there a trick to remove and replace the rubber blocks?
    Remove nuts.....
    Slide out threaded rods?
Can’t seem to get the rod to slide out.
    Thanks

Try soaking the rubber with the rod in it in boiling water for a few minutes. The steel ends up sticking to the rubber after being in there for decades. It worked for me. I also use that method to remove rubber grips.
