Seeking information on an old Flathead Harley VL. The Harley has a 4-speed transmission and it was only offered in 1936. Is there a difference between the 4-speed and 3-speed shift lever linkage parts? Where can I find parts for it, or a diagram of it. Any leads would be appreciated.

The 4 speed/reverse VL gearbox book is full of pictures, and still available on eBay or through the VL Heaven Website, but not Amazon. It's $25 including worldwide postage, so not a big profit item, just another vanity desktop publishing project trying to get information out to us hard core enthusiasts.Comment
