    VL seat post springs

Hello, any recommendations where I can get stiffer seat post springs for my VL or maybe an external spring like this one pictured?

Colony took over Dave Croft's business when he retired. These are as good as it gets for a VL as far as I'm aware.

Set of upper and lower springs for Harley-Davidson 45's, VL and Servi-car. Does not fit 1942-1943 WLA, WLC with short seat tee. Made in Ohio, USA.

Save your self some time and aggravation and buy the seat post springs shown above. I had long conversations with Dave when I was having seat post issues on some pans and knuckles and once I bought his spring sets all issue went away and the ride and control was far superior. They are color coded and can be arranged to cover weights from 150 to 280 lbs. simply by arranging them by color combo and following the setting as shown in the service manual. You will be happy with the ride and feel. You end up with a couple of extra unused springs but that is by design to cover the range between 150 and 280.
