Looking for an original front brake lever clamp #4153-28 (new 45030-28). My 1939 parts book shows the GL-5 clamp but Palmer says 1939-40 used the stamped steel clamps. Can someone tell me if the clamps used on the WLA blackout brackets #4967-42 are the same clamps as the front brake lever clamps. Thanks

I believe the WLA 4967-42 clamp is wider and thicker than the stamped 4153-28 clamp. I do not know when they quit using the cast one.Comment
