  • Seeking - 1946 plastic kicker pedal for restoration

    Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a 1946 Harley Davidson plastic kicker pedal for my restoration project. If anyone has one that they can part with, please message me and perhaps we can come to terms on a price. Looking forward to hearing from some of you.

    Regards,
    Gary

Here it is. Buy the pedal. Take the vinyl part off and save the chrome stuff for a custom.

      Hi Chris,

Thank you for the reply, I am aware of the repop version....I am actually looking for NOS, providing that someone has one that they are willing to part with.

A few of these have appeared on ebay over the years, they sell in the $750 to $900 range, if you really want one check ebay every week for two years.
If you plan to ride your bike they are inferior to a standard kicker pedal.

Thanks for the input....I understand that they do not pop up very often and when they do the price can be scary. If you never ask the question....you never know the answer. By the way...I do have another bike to ride!!!

Do you have the '46 pedal? Although both use the same vinyl pedal most of the metal parts of the '45 are different than the '46.

Right now I have an after market.....I am hoping to show the bike after rebuild....which is why I am looking for a correct pedal. I thought that I would start my search with the hard to find item!!! If you don't look....you don't find!!

I understand that the original ones really are for show only as they have all dried up and are brittle. One or two kicks and they fall apart. Based on that I stopped looking for one for my '46 as my bike is a rider. Good luck on your search, I get it.
