  • 45" 3 Speed w/Reverse Transmission

    Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get an exploded diagram of the 45" 3 speed with reverse transmission? Both manuals I have (including one that was suppose to cover Servi-Cars) only show the standard 3 speed version.

Try a parts book. My 1964 Servi-Car Parts Catalog 99454-64 has the exploded diagram.

The factory Service manuals from the late '60s have the Reverse tranny pictured. However, everything is the same except the reverse gear in place of the spacer on the countershaft and no kicker gears. All the spacer locations and specs are the same, including the fork spacing.

        Greg and Robbie,

        Thanks for the quick responses.

        Robbie,
I really appreciate you taking the time to answer all the questions I post here. It looks like you have vast knowledge on many motorcycle brands and models. I think I even saw something from you on the German motorcycle section (R69S perhaps). Between my 2 sons and I, we have a bunch of British, German, Japanese, Italian and USA makes and models most running, some running well, some fair and some, like this 45 and the Knuckle you've helped me with, down for rebuild.

It's a shame you live so far away from us (Illinois). It looks like we have a lot in common. Do you ever get to Wauseon or Davenport?
