Push Rod GUARD

If you are in need of a 1936-39 (#2345-36) clutch push rod lever GUARD, Mark Masa (mark@linkcycles.com) makes an excellent reproduction. In my opinion, better than Harley's original guard. I was able to installed one on my 1940 45 by filing the lever clearance notch a little larger due to the fact that the push rod lever arm was increased to 3/4" Dia. for the 1940 only.

The guard will fit without modification on 1936-1939 but as oldsport mentioned, the 1940 clutch arm is a much larger diameter and some clearance must be added.
