I met the guy who built and rode it to Denton a few years ago. He was 80 then and was a rocket scientist! No BS! He rode it all the time and said he rode up to 500 miles in one day. He was a very interesting character and told the story of how he modified the Sportster starter to make it work.

Unfortunately I don't but the was an aerospace engineer from Florida. Some guys in the Sunshine Chapter should know who he is. Contact them and see if they can help out. He seemed to be pretty well known.
