  • '34-'36 VL Question

Wondering if anyone can show me pictures of the oil/fuel lines on a vl - interested in seeing where the lines begin and end, Also, what's happening in the rear/bottom of the fuel tank - shifter tower, etc. very crowded !
    thanks

Pictures attached. Left side is a 35VLDD and right side a 36VLH. Both tank outlets are slanted, and the right hand gas line goes behind the seat post. In contrast to the earlier VLs, the left gas line runs outside the shifter mechanism, so as not to boil the fuel against the rear cylinder. The left side is indeed busy, but the spark leads are tucked into the steel loop attached to the tail light wire breaker. This is fixed to the left of the topmost shifter tower mount bolt. The 1932 gas filter means the fuel lines meet the carburettor horizontally, not from underneath as in 1930/31.
