  • Battery box Decal

Can anyone tell me which is the correct battery box decal ( 5920-08 ) for a '34 VLD . The one with gold center or silver center ? And is the " correct way" to put one on each side of the box ? Last question how far from the top of the box lid are they placed ? Thank you , Mike

In looking at factory photos I see a Bar & Shield decal on each side, not the patent decal.

The patent decal would go on the toolbox.

In looking at pics of (2) original paint machines, I see them on each side of battery box. The patent part of decal is silver, while the bar/shield part is gold. I'll try to post pics

He is asking about decals for a 1934 VLD. The op pictures show a 1932 RL.

In concurrence with Chris's factory photo's, the factory archive book shows the bar & shield logo on either side of the tool box.

Also concur with harleytoprock that the patent decal would go on the tool box.
