  • VL battery box/fender bolts

I'm trying to figure out the correct heads of the 4 bolts that are found below the saddle area on the frame. The two outer mount the battery box to the frame and the two inner mount the rear fender to the frame. I believe the tops are slightly rounded like a kick pedal bolt and the heads are higher than a regular bolt. What I need to know is the hex size for these 4 bolts. Do the outers and inners have the same hex size and what are their size? Does anyone know for sure? Thank you for kind help!

The outer bolts are 069 with the rounded heads and 9/16" AF heads. The inner ones are 061 with 1/2" AF heads and regular unmarked hexagonal heads 1/4" thick. Both have 5/16" UNF threads. The curious 069 bolt is also used on the 1930/31 VL cast exhaust joiner, and on the military WLA leg shields, which is why nos items have a cotter pin hole.
