  • 1931-32 Motolamp lens

I have a lens that fits the 1931-32 flat lens Motolamp headlight that is marked "Twolite". Was this lens ever used as original equipment on either Harley VL or Indian? Or is this just a replacement lens made by Twolite?

I think this was used on car spotlamps.....Indians 1930-32 and Harleys 1931-32 had the flat glass with "MOTOLAMP" script on top....

      May be Ford.

Thanks for the replies. I doubt if it's Ford because their lenses had the Ford logo on them. Also this Twolite lens is much smaller than a Model A Ford lens.

Is the lens small enough to fit the twin headlights of the '29-'30 HDs? I had one of those a while back that had a Twolite lens.

Bob, No, it's too big to fit the twin headlights. It fits the 1931-32 John Brown Motolamp perfectly. The shape, at the top, of the raised area, fits the Motolamp door (bezel).
