  • Zerk/Greae Fitting on VL Steering Head

I am about ready to assemble my I-beam front end on a '31 VL frame and before I got to far; I wanted ask if anyone installed a grease fitting on the steering head? There is clearance between the stem and cups to allow future greasing of the bearings. If so, where was it installed? And maybe there is no need for one??

    Thanks,
    William

If it is a nice original unaltered frame, then leave it that way. You will never be able to kick yourself in the ass enough for molesting it.
