VL 4 speed gears

I'm not sure but do think these NOS gears are for a 4 speed VL gearbox
22 tooth, 4 spline, 5 drive dogs.
It slides nicely on a 3 speed VL mainshaft.
Both are NOS and available.

Tommo Is it possible that these are VL 3 & R gears. Years ago I did a 4 speed VL transmission for a guy and the gears looked like 36 and up 4 speed gears except they were smaller and the counter gear had no provision for a speedometer drive gear. I have never done a VL reverser transmission so I do not know.

Jerry I don't know for sure but suspect they are 2298-31A 2nd/high sliding gear for the 1931-36 VL reverse gearbox.
I was hoping someone would positively identify them for me without me having to suggest a possible part number

They are not from the VL four speed gearbox, nor the VL reverse or three speed box.
