UL clip in valve cover installation

Does anyone have a step by step pictorial on how to put in the clip in valve stem covers. I would like to keep this origional however I am having a little trouble getting them in . I have purchased the installation tool from Vtwin . But I can't find anyone who has done it. Everyone I know have switched to the screw on covers. Thanks FNA

It is pretty much dead simple. Slide the lowers down. Use the tool to engage the tabbed washer with the upper, keeping spring tension off the clip you will install. Put clip in place making sure it is seated on the lower flange, release tab washer allowing spring pressure to push clip down and seat lower on seal. Done...
I use them on the engines they belong on. Been using them for 40+ years. No need to change to the old style..
