Rebuilding Wl trans Any good book recommendation?

I have a leak. I'm considering rebuilding it myself. I rebuilt the entire engine but never done a transmission before. I need to learn. Any good suggestions in books ?

The Military service manual from Fort Knox is an excellent one for the WL transmission. Also the Military service manual. They are both on eBay regularly. And Deb Palmer sells the Fort Knox book too.

You didn't say the year as that can make some difference-2 bolt or three?the 1950 45" parts book is pretty good info

Ah yes 3 bolt. A buddy gave me the service manual. It's pretty good.
