    VL ridge rear fork length

Can someone tell me the total length of a stock VL ridge rear fork? Also, what is the stem length. Is stem length longer than UL. I know the diameter is larger. Thanks!!

I've just put a tape measure over a VL main fork leg and made it 26 3/8" top to bottom, and 16 1/2" from under the forged bridge to the bottom of the leg. The stem is 8 1/4" top to bottom with the lower bearing removed. Stem is 1 1/8" diameter, although Harley called it 1 9/64" when specifying the 24 tpi die to clean up damaged threads.

Does anyone know if a stock 45 springer (servicar, etc) have same length legs as a VL or are VL legs 1 inch longer? I know the two stems at top that go into handlebar and threaded stem are shorter on 45 springer.

My 45" I Beam rear leg measures 25 1/2 OAL & 15 3/4 from c/l axle to bottom of forged bridge (bottom of round area next to leg). The stem is 7 5/8 top to bottom with the lower bearing removed.
