Does any one out there have information on the 1939 - 1941 Harley Davidson Streamlined (boat tail) taillight? My existing housing is missing the "bar" that the lens retaining springs hook over. I need dimensions for the bar so that I may reproduce one, also need the size and location of the bar mounting holes in the housing. The holes in my housing had been welded over, I need to re-drill them. Would also like to locate NOS lens retaining springs.

Thanks Kyle, how do I find this latest PM? All I seem to find is your first post about the approx diameter and maybe that the bar is peened on the ends to hold it in place. Is there a newer post with more information?.....oldsportComment
