1930 VL sidecar gearing
OK, I have a 30 VL that I just added a sidecar. The motor gear is 23 teeth. It isn't enough power even when I'm by myself. I have been told to change the gear to a 21 tooth motor gear. The original owners manual says 19. Although that seems way too low. Has anyone gone through this?? Changing the gear to a 19 teeth will cause me to have to cut links out of the chain etc.
