  • 1937 UL on a farm auction

    http://wyoderauction.com/auctions/au...abs-morephotos

I was there and saw it sell. $38,000 large.

Basically it was a 1937 UL motor, gas tanks and transmission in a 1942 chassis with an Indian Motolamp headlight and a VL seat spring. Missing left foorboard and rear stand with a custom side stand.

These next 2 photos are just to show you that it was in fact a barn find at a farm auction.

I'd have bid on the gang plow first... and it probably has a better chance of being restored economically.

      Cheers,

Well in its' defense it was a real solid bike with exception of the fenders but more than I would have cared to spend. No snow that I saw but I did hit a bunch of hail on the way home.

And it wasn't spread in pieces from one end of the barn to the other!

Looks like the rain cleaned it up a bit or made it worse. I'm thinking with the rain getting all the dirt and poop wet and then drying, it could turn into concrete.

Just in case your buddy's car gets a flat you can help him out. Thinking outside the box.
