Yeah I know. I thought that may be a Panhead fender but was not sure, thanks for the confirmation.

The Pan fender is '49 to early '51. If it wasn't cut it would be a hard to find one..
          The seat appears poorly recovered.

So what does the airplane wing fit? No Brownie points for the response: "An Airplane," either.

            Cheers,

            Sirhr

Not sure what the wing would fit. I can ask when I see the owner of the parts today.

The wing is from a WW1 fighter called a Sopwith Pup. The little brother of the Sopwith Camel.

                  Now THAT's cool!!!

Thanks... I had figured some half-finished ultra-light or something. Ok... c'mon.. the rest of the story? Is it being built? Restored? How about powerplant? This is cool stuff right here! Enquiring minds want to know ;-)

And feel free to tell me to mind my own business. But WW1 fighter wings that just 'happen' to be in the picture? I mean... too cool!

                  Cheers,

I really don`t have much information on the airplane. The owner has been working on it for awhile and it is coming along nicely. I am sure it will have the original type of engine.

                      Hi Mark,

The wheel is a Harley VL wheel.

The other two fenders look like late JD (1926-1929) to me. (The JDs had 3 braces the VL only 2 as far as I know, but I am no expert on these....)

Best wishes from Europe to NY!
