  • Alemite Grease Fitting

I am looking for a fitting. This one has threads that are 1/8" from the end to the base of the hex. The place where it goes has some stripped threads and I need one that has about 3/16" long threads. Hopefully it will reach some good threads deeper in the hole. Does anyone know of a source?

How about using a short piece of pipe? In other words, make your own; use a small pipe to screw in, and then screw the fitting into that. Of course... it would have to be super short.

      Bob,
I don't know if this would work with what you have but why not weld it closed and tap it.

I think I can help you.
Let me look and I'll get back to you.
1929 J/JD front brake plate has an extension that the alemite nipple screws into and I may have a spare or two of them.
You'll be using a genuine HD period part.
